North American Solid State Chemistry Conference (NASSCC) is a biannual meeting to discuss emergent topics of solid-state chemistry broadly defined: synthesis, characterization, crystal structure, chemical bonding, and properties of inorganic and hybrid extended solids.

NASSCC takes place biennially, alternating with the Gordon Research Conference on Solid State Chemistry. While preserving the informal and collegial style of the GRC, the NASSCC promotes the work of students, postdocs, early-career faculty members, and research scientists.

Conference history: NASSCC meetings have been previously held at Texas A&M University (2007), The Ohio State University (2009), McMaster University (2011), Oregon State University (2013), Florida State University (2015), UC Santa Barbara (2017), Colorado School of Mines (2019), University of Southern California (virtual, 2021), and University of Calgary (2023).
